Ngome — meaning "fortress" — was founded by Mekonnen Kaasa, a former Microsoft Senior Director who worked with Microsoft Security engineering team that built Microsoft security products, and relocated to Kenya. Mr. Kassa is a cybersecurity veteran driven by a belief that every organisation in Africa must have robust protection, just like the Fortune 500 companies.
